Traditional Cuisine of My Home

 There have been multiple entries regarding the unique cuisines of the North-Eastern states of India, many of them being recognised to be an ultimate form of superfoods that relinquish the traditional status of such renowned states. Various delicacies have been established by them and as a resident who resides or belongs to one of those states, I’m here to talk about one of those most common dishes of the state of Assam, which is available throughout all the seasons of the year, especially during the harvest season.  The name of the dish varies as I’m about to talk about the technique which creates few of the most iconic meals. Bohag Bihu- The Assamese New Year

 On the day of 14th April, or on the 2nd week of April, we see the commencement of the Assamese new year. We, the locals call it as Rongali or Bohag Bihu. It simplifies and gives the explanation for the beginning of the harvest festival in the northeastern state of Assam for the paddy crops that are grown by the local farmers. This holiday would hold as a considerate way of reuniting the native settlements of Assam to come together and celebrate this auspicious occasion in a brand new manner with the help of the united people of the northeastern states and get together for such events that’ll be hold during such schedules.  Rongali Utsab is a celebration that is held in Guwahati, that upholds and showcases the tribal culture of Assam. The habit that changed my life for the better

After the second semester of my first year, I noticed that my studies have not improved since I was following up with my old school routine of studying, which was to study summaries of the required prose and poems. It was quite effective in the beginning, but it had its own pros and cons. Whatever I had read right before the exam starts, I memorised every bit of it. And I remembered all that was taught during classes, but everything else that I missed during my absence in classes, none of that was on my mind while I was preparing for the exam.  So after receiving my papers, and the total results, I had quite a low percentage in my mark-sheet so I tried to mend my ways and start exploring different approaches towards my studies.
